Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up various precision machining equipment to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential to ensure accurate and efficient production. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about precision craftsmanship, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment with precision and safety.</li><li>Program CNC machines using CAM programming software and interpret G-code for complex parts.</li><li>Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing), and specifications to ensure accurate production.</li><li>Set up tooling, fixtures, and calibration tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for each job.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.</li><li>Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and tooling to assemble or modify parts as needed.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of machining processes, measurements, and quality checks using precision measuring instruments.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role with a strong mechanical background.</li><li>Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar control systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of GD&amp;T principles and blueprint reading skills.</li><li>Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is highly desirable.</li><li>Skilled in SolidWorks, CAD software, and CAM programming for designing and setting up machining operations.</li><li>Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus.</li><li>Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately.</li><li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.</li><li>Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations.</li><li>Valid certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred but not required.
