Job Type: Full-Time Location: New Orleans, LA (In-Office)Job Summary: Coastal Truck Driving School is hiring an experienced and highly organized Administrative &amp; Accounting Assistant to support our corporate office. This is a multi-function role that includes bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and coordination of employee insurance and benefits.This position is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, accountable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities without constant supervision.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and consistent follow-up on outstanding balances</li><li>Perform bookkeeping duties such as data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records</li><li>Assist with employee insurance and benefits, including enrollments, changes, and communication with providers</li><li>Maintain organized and up-to-date financial and administrative records</li><li>Support leadership with reporting, compliance tracking, and general administrative tasks</li></ul>Qualifications (Required):<ul><li>Proven experience with accounts receivable and bookkeeping</li><li>Experience handling employee insurance and/or benefits coordination</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without close supervision</li><li>Professional communication skills and reliability</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software</li><li>Background in a multi-location or service-based business</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For: We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, follows through on tasks, and keeps things organized without being asked.
