Teacher Intervention Job Duties:<ul><li>Instruct Reading/writing fundamentals to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.</li><li>Deliver designated instructional models in reading skills to eligible students through the utilization of personal or company-designed materials.</li><li>Utilize school- provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.</li><li>Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.</li><li>Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).</li><li>Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.</li><li>Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.</li><li>Position is for 7:15-3:35 or 8:00-3:00 during school hours IN PERSON, M-F.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Teacher Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or higher</li><li>Current and valid AZ Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education with Reading or ELA middle grades endorsement.</li><li>SEI endorsement is a plus.</li><li>Reading interventionist endorsement is a plus.</li><li>Current and VALID Fingerprint clearance card.</li><li>Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience.</li><li>Willingness and ability to teach reading/writing to various High School grade levels.</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Docs, and Zoom/Teams preferred.</li><li>Peronsal laptop/IPad.</li><li>A passion to help students and someone dedicated and reliable!</li><li>Reliable vehicle to travel to schools (Central Phoenix location).</li><li>August 17th, 2026 start!</li></ul>We invite qualified candidates who are eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners to apply for this rewarding position.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hourEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>in classroom teaching: 3 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>fingerprint clearance card (Required)</li><li>Teaching Certification (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
