9-12 HS English Interventionist

Teacher Intervention Job Duties:

• Instruct Reading/writing fundamentals to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in reading skills to eligible students through the utilization of personal or company-designed materials.
• Utilize school- provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Position is for 7:15-3:35 or 8:00-3:00 during school hours IN PERSON, M-F.
• Other duties as assigned.

Teacher Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Current and valid AZ Teaching Certificate in Secondary Education with Reading or ELA middle grades endorsement.
• SEI endorsement is a plus.
• Reading interventionist endorsement is a plus.
• Current and VALID Fingerprint clearance card.
• Classroom teaching and/or tutoring experience.
• Willingness and ability to teach reading/writing to various High School grade levels.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Docs, and Zoom/Teams preferred.
• Peronsal laptop/IPad.
• A passion to help students and someone dedicated and reliable!
• Reliable vehicle to travel to schools (Central Phoenix location).
• August 17th, 2026 start!
