Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Baristato join our vibrant caf&eacute; team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with experience in food handling and retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will prepare beverages, serve customers, and ensure an exceptional experience in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food service, POS systems, and sales while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other menu items with attention to quality and presentation</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for orders and payments</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food preparation stations and seating areas</li><li>Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties</li><li>Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times</li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service</li><li>Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed</li><li>Uphold health standards by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation practices</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous barista experience or background in coffee service preferred</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and caf&eacute; operations</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail sales is desirable</li><li>A positive attitude, reliability, and teamwork orientation are essential for success in this role</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $12.50 - $18.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
