Overview The Court Referral Officer is responsible for supervising and monitoring individuals referred by the court for substance use screening, education, and compliance with court-ordered conditions. This position serves as a liaison between the court system, treatment providers, and referred individuals to ensure compliance with applicable laws, court orders, and program requirement. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Must be comfortable to work in the legal field; criminal courts, jail systems, etc.Duties<ul><li>Conduct intake interviews and assessments for individuals referred by the court</li><li>Explain court orders, program requirements, deadlines, and participant responsibilities</li><li>Schedule, administer, and monitor drug and alcohol testing in accordance with court policy</li><li>Collect and process program fees and maintain accurate financial records</li><li>Refer participants to approved education, counseling, or treatment programs as required</li><li>Monitor participant compliance with court-ordered conditions and program rules</li><li>Maintain accurate, confidential case files and documentation in compliance with state laws and court standards</li><li>Prepare written reports, compliance summaries, and violation notices for the court</li><li>Notify the court of noncompliance, missed appointments, failed tests, or program violations</li><li>Communicate regularly with judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law enforcement, treatment providers, and other court personnel</li><li>Testify in court when required regarding participant compliance and program records</li><li>Ensure adherence to applicable statutes, administrative rules, and court policies</li><li>Provide professional and respectful interactions with participants while maintaining accountability</li><li>Manage scheduling, appointments, and daily office operations related to court referrals</li><li>Perform administrative duties including data entry, correspondence, and record retention</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Entry level.</li><li>All training will be paid for through employer.</li><li>Law enforcement preferred but not at all required.</li></ul>Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hourExpected hours: 20.0 &ndash; 40.0 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
