Job SummaryColby Service &amp; Supply is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to support daily warehouse activity, order processing, and logistics coordination. This role is a key part of our operations and requires someone who is comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and in system-based order management.The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to shifting priorities. This is a multi-function role that supports all areas of warehouse and operations as needed, including inventory, shipping, customer coordination, and administrative tasks.Job Functions / Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders</li><li>Maintain organized inventory and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy</li><li>Process sales orders, invoices, and backorders using QuickBooks Desktop</li><li>Coordinate shipments and deliveries (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight), including scheduling and tracking</li><li>Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team regarding orders, inventory, and delivery timelines</li><li>Assist with purchasing coordination and tracking incoming inventory</li><li>Help resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and delivery issues</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li><li>Follow and support standard operating procedures across warehouse and order processing</li><li>Provide general operational support wherever needed based on daily business demands</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous warehouse, logistics, or operations experience preferred</li><li>Comfortable working in both a physical warehouse environment and computer-based systems</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities</li><li>Basic computer skills required; experience with inventory or accounting systems is a plus</li><li>Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset</li><li>Ability to lift and move inventory as needed</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Combination of warehouse floor and office/admin tasks</li><li>Fast-paced, hands-on role with shifting daily priorities</li><li>Team-oriented environment supporting B2B customers and time-sensitive orders</li></ul>Position Type<ul><li>Full-time</li><li>On-site (Houston, TX)</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, is willing to step into different areas as needed, and contributes to keeping operations running smoothly.
