We are seeking a mission-driven IT Support Specialist to provide responsive and professional technical support to students, staff, and faculty. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, problem-solving, and service in a faith-based educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 help desk support via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person assistance.</li><li>
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, IP devices, and other technology in accordance with IT policies.</li><li>
Manage helpdesk ticket workflow, documentation, and escalation processes.</li><li>
Maintain user accounts, system configurations, and perform regular updates and patch management.</li><li>
Support and troubleshoot VOIP phone systems and Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices.</li><li>
Educate users on IT policies, cybersecurity awareness, and technology best practices.</li><li>
Track IT assets and maintain accurate inventory and documentation.</li><li>
Assist with deployment and support of school-approved applications and platforms.</li><li>
Collaborate with departments to support technology needs across campus.</li><li>
Assist with onboarding and training new users on systems and tools.</li><li>
Assist with implementation and deployment of high-level projects as directed.</li><li>
Serve as backup to facilities team to assist with setup and operation of AV equipment for campus events, including sound, projection, and live streaming.</li><li>
Collaborate with IT team members to gain cross-functional knowledge of their roles, systems, and processes to provide backup and support as needed to ensure continuity of operations, while maintaining primary focus on assigned responsibilities.</li><li>

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows OS (10/11) troubleshooting and support required.</li><li>
Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Cat6) required.</li><li>
Experience with IT help desk systems and ticket management platforms.</li><li>
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and cloud-based identity management.</li><li>
Ability to support and troubleshoot VOIP phones and PoE-connected devices.</li><li>
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.</li><li>
Experience in K-12 schools and/or Student Information Systems (SIS) a plus.</li></ul>
Education &amp; Certification<ul><li>
High school diploma required.</li><li>
Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li>
Technical certifications a plus.</li></ul>
Job Data:<ul><li>
Hours: Full-time year-round</li><li>
Salary: Starts at $19.00 per hour. Actual salary is dependent upon experience.</li><li>
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and retirement plan.</li><li>
Paid Time Off: 12 paid personal days, 2 paid sick days, and 3 paid bereavement days per year.</li><li>
