We are seeking a mission-driven IT Support Specialist to provide responsive and professional technical support to students, staff, and faculty. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, problem-solving, and service in a faith-based educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 help desk support via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person assistance.

Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, IP devices, and other technology in accordance with IT policies.

Manage helpdesk ticket workflow, documentation, and escalation processes.

Maintain user accounts, system configurations, and perform regular updates and patch management.

Support and troubleshoot VOIP phone systems and Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices.

Educate users on IT policies, cybersecurity awareness, and technology best practices.

Track IT assets and maintain accurate inventory and documentation.

Assist with deployment and support of school-approved applications and platforms.

Collaborate with departments to support technology needs across campus.

Assist with onboarding and training new users on systems and tools.

Assist with implementation and deployment of high-level projects as directed.

Serve as backup to facilities team to assist with setup and operation of AV equipment for campus events, including sound, projection, and live streaming.

Collaborate with IT team members to gain cross-functional knowledge of their roles, systems, and processes to provide backup and support as needed to ensure continuity of operations, while maintaining primary focus on assigned responsibilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows OS (10/11) troubleshooting and support required.

Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Cat6) required.

Experience with IT help desk systems and ticket management platforms.

Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and cloud-based identity management.

Ability to support and troubleshoot VOIP phones and PoE-connected devices.

Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

Experience in K-12 schools and/or Student Information Systems (SIS) a plus.
Education & Certification

High school diploma required.

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Technical certifications a plus.

Hours: Full-time year-round

Salary: Starts at $19.00 per hour. Actual salary is dependent upon experience.
