This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) using digital imaging systems such as Dentrix.</li><li>Manage patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies.</li><li>Process dental instruments efficiently following sterilization procedures to maintain a sterile environment.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy to effectively communicate with patients and team members.</li><li>Operate dental equipment including 3D scanners, dental x-ray machines, and other clinical tools with proficiency.</li><li>Uphold infection control standards through proper infection prevention practices and healthcare infection prevention and control expertise.</li><li>Collaborate with the team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting; experience with dental clinic software such as Dentrix is highly preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Ability to take accurate X-rays (dental x-ray) and operate dental imaging equipment including 3D scanners.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, oral surgery procedures, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry practices.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient care and support the team effectively.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies at all times.</li><li>Certification in CPR or basic life support (BLS) is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is preferred.</li><li>Bilingual; Spanish Preferred.</li><li>Compensation based on experience.</li></ul>Join us in delivering top-quality dental care while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your skills and dedication!Pay: Up to $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
