.Position SummaryThe Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and exceptional transportation service to hotel guests traveling to and from the airport and local destinations. This role is a key extension of the guest experience, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellent service.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely transport guests to and from the airport and approved local destinations</li><li>Greet guests warmly and assist with luggage loading/unloading</li><li>Maintain a clean, presentable, and well-organized shuttle vehicle at all times</li><li>Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards</li><li>Monitor shuttle schedules and ensure timely departures and arrivals</li><li>Communicate effectively with the Front Desk regarding guest pickups, delays, or issues</li><li>Utilize shuttle tracking or dispatch systems (e.g., Track My Shuttle) as required</li><li>Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs immediately</li><li>Provide guests with local area information and promote hotel amenities when appropriate</li><li>Represent the hotel and Zoom to Room brand with professionalism at all times</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record</li><li>Minimum age requirement (per insurance guidelines, typically 21+)</li><li>Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (luggage assistance)</li><li>Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a shuttle driver, valet, or in hospitality</li><li>Knowledge of local roads, airport procedures, and surrounding area</li><li>Experience using GPS or dispatch/tracking applications</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul><li>Guest-first mindset</li><li>Reliability and punctuality</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li><li>Safety awareness</li><li>Team collaboration</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Primarily outdoors and in vehicle operation</li><li>Exposure to varying weather conditions</li><li>Frequent entering/exiting vehicle and standing</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to sit for extended periods while driving</li><li>Ability to lift, push, and pull luggage</li><li>Good vision and hearing for safe driving</li></ul>Why This Role MattersThe Shuttle Driver is often the first and last impression of the hotel.
