Shuttle Driver

.Position Summary

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and exceptional transportation service to hotel guests traveling to and from the airport and local destinations. This role is a key extension of the guest experience, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests to and from the airport and approved local destinations
• Greet guests warmly and assist with luggage loading/unloading
• Maintain a clean, presentable, and well-organized shuttle vehicle at all times
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards
• Monitor shuttle schedules and ensure timely departures and arrivals
• Communicate effectively with the Front Desk regarding guest pickups, delays, or issues
• Utilize shuttle tracking or dispatch systems (e.g., Track My Shuttle) as required
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
• Provide guests with local area information and promote hotel amenities when appropriate
• Represent the hotel and Zoom to Room brand with professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum age requirement (per insurance guidelines, typically 21+)
• Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (luggage assistance)
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a shuttle driver, valet, or in hospitality
• Knowledge of local roads, airport procedures, and surrounding area
• Experience using GPS or dispatch/tracking applications
