This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic environment that values teamwork and exceptional service.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service hours</li><li>Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines</li><li>Busing tables and clearing used dishes promptly to keep the dining area tidy and inviting</li><li>Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their breakfast experience</li><li>Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for any paid breakfast services or special orders</li><li>Support catering or banquet setups when needed, ensuring all arrangements are handled efficiently and professionally</li><li>Assist with delivery driver responsibilities if required, helping transport supplies or food items as needed</li><li>Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, dietary accommodations, and general cleanliness</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is highly desirable; kitchen experience is a plus</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members</li><li>Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous</li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining a lively and energetic demeanor</li><li>Experience with cleaning routines, bussing tables, or host/hostess duties is beneficial</li><li>Basic knife skills, meat cutting knowledge, or culinary experience can be an asset</li><li>A friendly attitude with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills</li><li>Ability to work early mornings or flexible shifts as required in a hotel environment</li></ul>Join us in creating welcoming mornings that leave lasting impressions!
