Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within the hotel, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for guests and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and the ability to respond swiftly to repair needs.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Address guest requests related to maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing leaks, electrical faults, and mechanical malfunctions.</li><li>Ensure the upkeep of common areas, guest rooms, exterior hotel grounds and pool area</li><li>Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff to address maintenance concerns efficiently.</li><li>Maintain records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and scheduled servicing.</li><li>Comply with safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure a secure environment.</li><li>Assist with special projects and renovations as required.</li><li>Work with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in maintenance-related fields is a plus.</li><li>Previous experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.</li><li>Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.</li></ul>If you have the skills and dedication to ensure our hotel remains in top condition, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team!Job Type: Full-timePay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hourWork Location: In person
