Hotel Maintenance

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within the hotel, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully functional environment for guests and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and the ability to respond swiftly to repair needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Address guest requests related to maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing leaks, electrical faults, and mechanical malfunctions.
• Ensure the upkeep of common areas, guest rooms, exterior hotel grounds and pool area
• Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk staff to address maintenance concerns efficiently.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
• Comply with safety regulations and hotel policies to ensure a secure environment.
• Assist with special projects and renovations as required.
• Work with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in maintenance-related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
