<div>POSITION SUMMARY: Primary point of contact for all Accounts Payable related functions and procedures. Processes weekly payments and ensures accuracy of records for auditing and 1099 reporting and performs various office duties ensuring accuracy of payments and records. 


QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree and 2 years related experience. Experience may be substituted for education. 

SKILL SETS: Possesses superior organizational, oral, and written communication skills as well as strong customer service skills. High attention to detail a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required, specifically Excel formulas. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Visual acuity necessary for computer work and administration of all paperwork. Requires some stooping and crouching to access files. Hearing and speaking necessary for phone conversations with clients, employees, and other individuals. There are long periods of sitting. Manual dexterity is required to perform keyboard and calculator functions and other related duties. 


JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
<ul><li>Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account records.</li><li>
Sets up and maintains vendor accounts in system, ensuring all required documentation has been collected prior to payment for preparation of 1099s.</li><li>
Maintains confidential files in accordance with generally accepted office standards.</li><li>
Ensures correct payments are made in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.</li><li>
Analyzes expense reports and other documentation for accuracy and eligibility for payment.</li><li>
Maintains proper filing and storage of records.</li><li>
Ensures proper recordkeeping of purchases and contracts for use in tax preparation and audits.</li><li>
Prepares census reports for submission.</li><li>
Performs routine administrative tasks including answering phones, filing, photocopying, and preparing correspondence for the department.</li><li>
Arranges travel and hotel reservations for staff attending trainings.</li><li>
Reconciles account payable total and general ledger with other applicable records.</li><li>
Oversees agency&rsquo;s credit card accounts and reconciles transactions monthly.</li><li>
Participates in agency continuing quality improvements (CQI) activities.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

<div>POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the oversight of clinical billing operations which includes billing and clerical staff. Supervise the day-to-day billing operations in the region, staff schedules and reporting requirements. 


QUALIFICATIONS: Associate Degree with emphasis in Business and five years related experience in medical office billing. Additional 2 years&rsquo; experience may substitute for Associate degree. Excellent communication and computer skills required.

SKILL SETS: Knowledge of: medical terminology, clinical operations and billing procedures, Records maintenance skills, patient registration procedures and documentation, planning and scheduling techniques, related clinical accreditation and certification requirements, ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIORMENTAL DEMANDS: Visual acuity necessary for updating files and completing documents. Requires frequent stooping, kneeling and crouching to file records. Hearing and talking is necessary to answer phone and talk with employees and other individuals. Work is light with walking, standing and sitting. Manual dexterity is required to perform work processing and other clerical duties. 
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
 <ul><li>Maintain oversight and provider assistance to staff pertaining to collection of client receivable balance reports.</li><li>
Coordinates with clinic manager the client scheduling system in order to maximize access to services.</li><li>
Maintaining financial stability by enhancing income and controlling expenses; ensures collection of client fees and accurate input of all financial/insurance data.
</li><li>Coordinates requisition of office, cleaning, and building supplies; monitors petty cash disbursement.
</li><li>Ensures staff provide excellent customer relations, provides information on services to clients, and clarification on billing matters.</li></ul>

6. Performs other duties as assigned.
