Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry practices, with specialized expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing patient oral health and delivering comprehensive dental solutions in a professional and welcoming environment.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions accurately using medical terminology and dental imaging techniques.</li><li>Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry treatments, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.</li><li>Deliver exceptional patient care by explaining treatment options clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout procedures.</li><li>Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records, manage appointments, and streamline clinical workflows efficiently.</li><li>Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure a safe clinical environment.</li><li>Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists practicing four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency and patient outcomes.</li><li>Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, medical terminology relevant to dentistry, and emerging techniques in endodontics and prosthodontics.</li><li>Ensure accurate medical documentation of treatments performed and update patient records diligently following each appointment.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.</li><li>Contribute to the overall success of the dental practice by maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering a positive experience for all patients.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid license to practice dentistry with current credentials in the respective jurisdiction.</li><li>Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or related specialties preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology related to dentistry, and anatomy relevant to oral health.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic procedures, and other restorative treatments effectively.</li><li>Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment or clinic setting is advantageous.</li><li>Excellent patient care skills with an empathetic approach tailored to pediatric patients when applicable.</li><li>Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques necessary for safe clinical practice.</li><li>Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and confidentiality.</li><li>Strong communication skills for clear explanation of procedures and treatment plans using appropriate dental terminology.
