Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry practices, with specialized expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions accurately using medical terminology and dental imaging techniques.
• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry treatments, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Deliver exceptional patient care by explaining treatment options clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout procedures.
• Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records, manage appointments, and streamline clinical workflows efficiently.
• Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists practicing four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, medical terminology relevant to dentistry, and emerging techniques in endodontics and prosthodontics.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation of treatments performed and update patient records diligently following each appointment.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
• Contribute to the overall success of the dental practice by maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering a positive experience for all patients.

Requirements

• Valid license to practice dentistry with current credentials in the respective jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or related specialties preferred.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology related to dentistry, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
• Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic procedures, and other restorative treatments effectively.
• Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment or clinic setting is advantageous.
• Excellent patient care skills with an empathetic approach tailored to pediatric patients when applicable.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques necessary for safe clinical practice.
• Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and confidentiality.
