We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry practices, with specialized expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental fabrication. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose dental conditions accurately using medical terminology and dental imaging techniques.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry treatments, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Deliver exceptional patient care by explaining treatment options clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout procedures.
- Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records, manage appointments, and streamline clinical workflows efficiently.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists practicing four-handed dentistry to optimize efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in dental terminology, medical terminology relevant to dentistry, and emerging techniques in endodontics and prosthodontics.
- Ensure accurate medical documentation of treatments performed and update patient records diligently following each appointment.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
- Contribute to the overall success of the dental practice by maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements
- Valid license to practice dentistry with current credentials in the respective jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in general dentistry with additional expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or related specialties preferred.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology related to dentistry, and anatomy relevant to oral health.
- Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic procedures, and other restorative treatments effectively.
- Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment or clinic setting is advantageous.
- Excellent patient care skills with an empathetic approach tailored to pediatric patients when applicable.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques necessary for safe clinical practice.
- Ability to interpret medical imaging accurately for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and confidentiality.
