Your enthusiasm, leadership skills, and passion for working with children will drive the success of our program and create a joyful environment for all participants.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan, organize, and execute engaging Hebrew language activities aligned with educational goals for afterschool and summer camp settings</li><li>Manage daily program operations, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children of diverse backgrounds</li><li>Supervise and mentor staff, volunteers, and teaching assistants to ensure high-quality instruction and positive behavior management</li><li>Implement classroom management strategies to promote respectful interactions, active participation, and smooth transitions between activities</li><li>Coordinate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster strong community relationships</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining first aid readiness and adhering to childcare standards</li><li>Develop culturally enriching curriculum that incorporates Hebrew language immersion, Jewish traditions, arts, sports coaching, theater activities, and childhood development principles</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven fluency in spoken and written Modern Hebrew</li><li>Proven experience in classroom management within early childhood education or childcare environments</li><li>Prior involvement in camp programming or summer youth activities with a focus on working with children of various ages</li><li>Knowledge of special education needs and behavior management techniques to support diverse learners</li><li>Background in teaching or tutoring in Hebrew or related languages is highly desirable</li><li>Certifications such as first aid/CPR are preferred to ensure safety during all program activities</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive, energetic atmosphere that encourages learning and fun</li></ul>This role is ideal for passionate educators or youth program leaders eager to inspire children through immersive language experiences.
