 Overview:
 
 
 
 The Production Manager at Connect Housing Blocks is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. This role includes managing production schedules, supervising staff and maintaining quality standards.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 What You'll Do:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversees the production process and day-to-day workflow of Finishing team.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Plans, organizes, and coordinates the areas&rsquo; workload to ensure all materials are available and projects under his/her supervision are completed on budget and schedule, within the company&rsquo;s established quality standards.&nbsp;&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts pre-shift meetings, assigns safe, clear, and measurable activities to team members.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures team members follow pre-assigned scheduling including start time, break times, and end times. Reviews and approves associates time cards daily and ensures all approvals and corrections are complete in accordance with the company&rsquo;s policy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reports all attendance and performance issues to Human Resources and collaborates to create an action plan or administer discipline in accordance with company policy.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitates training to ensure employees can perform their assigned tasks and duties. Trains and directs employees on optimum and safe use of the equipment including Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains communication between management, employees and HR Manager ensure necessary policies are followed and understood.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Makes sure all equipment and tools are in proper working condition and repaired as necessary to avoid downtime or delays.
 </li>
 <li>
 Update the progress on the production schedule daily and report to Director of Production and Schedule Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage, maintain, and execute the Modular Traveler.&nbsp;Communicate and coordinate with other productions managers to facilitate modifications and repairs due to production and design issues.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Tracks and manages defects in products received from rough in and prefab and reports quality issues to the Director of Production.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Plans, monitors, and reviews production levels/performance metrics of production associates.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Follows and enforces the company&rsquo;s safety culture, policies, quality, and standards.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Reports any safety issues to the Safety Coordinator and promotes good reporting practices within the team.&nbsp;
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Education:
 
 &nbsp;Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Experience:
 
 &nbsp;5+ years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Communication Skills:
 
 &nbsp;Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Mathematical Skills:
 
 &nbsp;Ability to apply general mathematical concepts to production and operational situations.
 </li>
 </ul>

 Physical Demands:
 
 
 
 While performing the duties of this job, the individual must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including standing, sitting, bending, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Work Environment:
 
 
 
 This role is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment. The noise level can be moderate to high, and safety gear may be required.
