 Role Overview
 
 
 
 
 The Commercial Sector Head is a strategic and results-driven leadership role responsible for spearheading Connect Money&rsquo;s business development, account management, and revenue generation efforts across specific high-impact verticals (e.g., retail, fuel, trade, insurance, gig economy, platforms, etc.).
 
 
 
 
 
 This role owns the full client lifecycle&mdash;from lead generation and proposal building to deal closure, implementation oversight, and post-launch account growth. The Sector Manger plays a pivotal role in translating sector needs into tailored financial solutions by aligning closely with internal teams and external decision-makers.
 
 
 
 
 
 This position is central to Connect Money&rsquo;s growth roadmap and market expansion strategy in Egypt and other regional markets.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Revenue Generation &amp; Sector Growth
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead business development and sales pipeline generation across assigned sectors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own and manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead qualification, pitch, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Convert high-value opportunities through consultative selling and deep understanding of sector-specific pain points
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure both new and recurring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide strategic insights to enhance sector positioning and align with Connect Money&rsquo;s overall commercial goals.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 2. Account Management &amp; Client Success
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Act as the primary account owner for all clients within the assigned sector.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct quarterly business reviews to evaluate performance, usage, and growth opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewal activities to grow account value.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as the trusted advisor and escalation point for clients post-launch.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with service delivery, operations, and CVM teams to maintain high client satisfaction and operational excellence.
 </li>

 3. Sector Strategy &amp; Market Expansion
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify key trends and emerging opportunities within the sector to fuel future growth.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build a deep understanding of sector-specific regulatory, operational, and business dynamics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop go-to-market strategies and tailored value propositions for each use case.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster strategic partnerships and alliances that strengthen Connect Money&rsquo;s sector footprint.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 4. Internal Collaboration &amp; Enablement
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Work closely with presales and CVM teams to craft personalized proposals and campaigns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the Service Delivery team to ensure timely and seamless project execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide sector insights to product, marketing, and strategy teams to inform roadmaps and narratives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within the commercial team.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 5. Performance Monitoring &amp; Reporting
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define and track key commercial and account KPIs (revenue, retention, activation, growth).
 </li>
 <li>
 Regularly report on pipeline, sector trends, and client portfolio performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement data-driven strategies to improve conversion rates and client lifetime value.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure CRM tools and reporting systems are up-to-date with accurate pipeline and account data.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Profile Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 6+ years of experience in business development, account management, or commercial leadership within fintech, SaaS, telecom, B2B2C platforms, or embedded finance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of closing complex deals and managing enterprise accounts end-to-end.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strategic thinker with strong sector insight and a consultative selling mindset.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to operate independently, drive initiatives, and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English and Arabic; experience with regional clients is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Self-starter with a high-performance orientation and a passion for fintech innovation.
 </li>
