Duties:<ul><li>
Responsible for planning instruction and/or adaption of the education program to enable students to benefit from educational experiences.</li><li>
Instruct individuals and groups in special education skill areas.</li><li>
Plan curriculum, lessons, and special education programs and teaching methods.</li><li>
Evaluate student progress based on papers submitted, test scores and observation.</li><li>
Monitor student progress in and outside the special education room.</li><li>
Maintain the physical environment of the classroom.</li><li>
Maintain contact with parents of students.</li><li>
Evaluate student progress based on work output and observation, determine goals, objectives and directions.</li><li>
Prepare report cards, educational records, IEP forms, classroom observation records, and other forms.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Work with IEP team to develop student behavior plan.</li></ul>
