Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the company's monthly close process, financial reporting, cost analysis, audit support, and key operational accounting activities. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with 3&ndash;5 years of public or corporate accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast growing, acquisition focused environment. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller, CFO, and operational teams to ensure accurate financial results and process improvements across the organization.
Essential Job Duties:<ul><li>
Lead and support components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analyses.</li><li>
Assist in the preparation of internal financial statements and management reporting packages.</li><li>
Support annual financial statement audit by preparing schedules, gathering requested documentation, and working directly with external auditors.</li><li>
Assist with the annual 401(k) plan audit, including data gathering, reconciliations, and compliance testing support.</li><li>
Perform cost and margin analysis, including standard cost reviews, manufacturing variances, and product profitability insights.</li><li>
Participate in inventory management activities, including inventory reconciliations, valuation testing, and analysis of obsolete or slow-moving inventory.</li><li>
Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and month end close procedures.</li><li>
Assist with integrations related to acquisitions, including system migrations, opening balance sheet support, process alignment, and policy implementation.</li><li>
Prepare and analyze balance sheet account roll forwards and ensure proper documentation supporting each account.</li><li>
Work with operational teams (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) to understand business drivers and support cross functional initiatives.</li><li>
Support cash flow analysis, forecasting, and working capital initiatives.</li><li>
Assist in developing and maintaining company accounting policies and documentation.</li><li>
Perform other accounting and finance projects as needed in a dynamic, high growth environment.</li></ul>
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
(CPA preferred, not required)
Required Experience/Skills:<ul><li>
3&ndash;5 years of public or corporate accounting experience.</li><li>
Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.</li><li>
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify, research, and resolve accounting issues.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and professionally.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.</li></ul>
Desired Experience/Skills:<ul><li>
Experience with manufacturing or cost accounting is preferred.</li><li>
Familiarity with inventory management processes.</li><li>
Experience supporting financial statement audits and 401(k) audits.</li><li>
Experience assisting with ERP implementations, system integrations, or post-acquisition accounting work.</li><li>
Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, basic modeling).</li></ul>

Senior Accountant

<div>Position Title: Quality Inspector - Machine Shop
Department: Quality
Location: Fenton, MO
Reports To: Quality Manager
Classification: Hourly &ndash; Non-Exempt
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday
Position Summary:
This position is responsible to inspect and test various parts made in the Machine Shop or Assembly areas using various inspection/testing tools such as calipers, micrometers, ring/plug gauges, etc.
Essential Job Duties:<ul><li>
Perform first article and in-process inspections per control plans/inspection plans, document results, and make start-up decisions.</li><li>
Identify, contain, and document all defective/suspect product.</li><li>
Operate precision measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures.</li><li>
Interpret visual and dimensional quality criteria to operators.</li><li>
Verify, index, file, and retrieve quality records.</li><li>
Participate in problem solving activities.</li><li>
Keep work area clean.</li><li>
Report incidents and injuries to Supervisor/Manager immediately.</li><li>
Recognize close-call incidents and safety hazards and take action to eliminate them.</li><li>
Use equipment properly and follow the safety features/operating procedures.</li><li>
Wear applicable personal protective equipment.</li><li>
Follow applicable safety, quality, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures.</li><li>
Actively participate in continual improvement, corrective action, and customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Keeps tools clean and operational by following manufacturer's instructions; report any need of repairs.</li><li>
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.</li><li>
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li></ul>
Required Education:<ul><li>
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent</li></ul>
Required Experience/Skills:<ul><li>
At least 2 years' experience in operations and/or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Must be able to read and understand blueprints.</li><li>
Must be able to use and read various inspection/testing tools such as calipers, micrometers, ring/plug gauges, etc.
</li><li>Proficient use of basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.</li><li>
Basic computer knowledge - ability to access/compose email and use engineering computer programs to access information.</li><li>
Attention to detail.</li><li>
