Job Summary We are a busy, patient-focused specialty practice seeking an experience Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team Monday through Thurday. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who values outstanding patient care, customer service, compassion and precision.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Assist dentists during surgical and nonsurgical procedures, new patient examinations and postoperative visits. Provide exceptional chairside support with a strong focus on patient comfort and communication.</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards.</li><li>Take and dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols</li><li>Monitor patients under oral sedation and nitrous oxide sedation.</li><li>Provide vital signs monitoring and assist with medical documentation for patients requiring medical clearance or special care.</li><li>Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and staff.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols; ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and preventive measures to promote overall dental wellness.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Tennessee.</li><li>Valid Radiology certification and Nitrous oxide monitoring certificate (required).</li><li>Proficiency in taking X-rays, and utilizing medical imaging equipment safely.</li><li>Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with compassionate, patient centered approach.</li><li>Dependable team player with a positive attitude</li><li>Strong organizational skills.</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
