Registered Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are a busy, patient-focused specialty practice seeking an experience Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team Monday through Thurday. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who values outstanding patient care, customer service, compassion and precision.

Key Responsibilities

Assist dentists during surgical and nonsurgical procedures, new patient examinations and postoperative visits. Provide exceptional chairside support with a strong focus on patient comfort and communication.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold infection control standards.
Take and dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols
Monitor patients under oral sedation and nitrous oxide sedation.
Provide vital signs monitoring and assist with medical documentation for patients requiring medical clearance or special care.
Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and staff.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols; ensure all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and preventive measures to promote overall dental wellness.

Qualifications

Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Tennessee.
Valid Radiology certification and Nitrous oxide monitoring certificate (required).
Proficiency in taking X-rays, and utilizing medical imaging equipment safely.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills with compassionate, patient centered approach.
Dependable team player with a positive attitude
Strong organizational skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
