Job Description: Cordero &amp; Associates is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Director to join our immigration law office. This role is essential in managing the firm&rsquo;s financial operations, with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, payroll management, and trust account oversight.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Oversee all daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Manage and maintain trust accounting in compliance with legal and ethical standards</li><li>Process and oversee payroll using ADP</li><li>Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports</li><li>Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting</li><li>Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls</li><li>Supervise accounting staff and improve financial processes</li><li>Collaborate with leadership to support strategic decision-making</li></ul>Requirements (Mandatory):<ul><li>Proven experience in an accounting leadership role (Accounting Manager, Director, or similar)</li><li>Strong, hands-on experience with QuickBooks (required)</li><li>Experience managing trust accounts (required)</li><li>Experience with ADP and payroll processing (required)</li><li>Fluency in Spanish and English (required)</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting</li><li>Excellent organizational and leadership skills</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to handle confidential financial information</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience in a law firm, preferably immigration law</li><li>CPA or other accounting certification</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary: $75,000 &ndash; $85,000</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
