Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental professionals while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental assisting tasks and familiarity with dental software systems.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.</li><li>Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft.</li><li>Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.</li><li>Manage appointment scheduling, including confirmations and reminders for patients.</li><li>Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness of the treatment area according to infection control protocols.</li><li>Support various specialties including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Pediatrics as needed.</li><li>Assist with medical coding for insurance claims processing.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; familiarity with dental clinic operations is a plus.</li><li>Proficient in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft.</li><li>Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and safety standards is essential.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.</li><li>Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.</li><li>Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is preferred but not required.</li><li>A willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry trends.</li></ul>Join our team and contribute to providing high-quality dental care while enhancing your professional skills in a supportive environment!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>X-Ray: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Redwood City, CA 94062 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
