Office managers coordinate and oversee administrative duties as well as the coordination of any Facilities based functions within the Office. Their responsibilities generally include duties such as greeting visitors, managing office supplies and equipment, overseeing contractors carrying out Property repairs and inspections, owning budgets, supporting senior staff members with administrative tasks and management of Office based Soft Services such as Cleaning and Security

Liaising with the Group Facilities Manager to report any maintenance or H&amp;S matters, monitoring 
to ensure remedial work is undertaken promptly and safely. 
Assisting visitors and clients, providing them with the reasonable resources they may need during 
their visit. 
Assisting with onboarding for new starters 
Management of all desk and meeting room bookings. 
Fielding questions raised by occupiers, assisting them in their use of the office and equipment 
such as phones and printers, minimising any disruption to permanent desk occupiers. 
Management of all office stationery &amp; goods 
Raising and goods receipting purchase orders and invoices within E1. 
Organisation of events based around promotion of well-being and team bonding 
Support with owning and updating key people tasks such as; Organisation charts, Authorities &amp; Responsibility appointments &amp; RACI charts. 
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Proven experience as Office Manager / facilities coordinator or in a similar role 
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel and 
Outlook and a proficient knowledge on I.T and AV technology

 <div><ul>Responsibilities: 1. Field Execution and Safety 
 
Facilities Contractor Management: Oversee the management of Facilities Contractors' Front Line Supervisors, driving daily and 4-weekly work plans. 
Supervisory Selection: Select and appoint the Facilities Contractors' Front Line Supervisors in compliance with SHE-H-703. 
Meetings &amp; Briefings: Lead the daily coordination meeting and deliver cascaded start-of-shift briefings to the Facilities Contractors' Front Line Supervisors. 
Readiness &amp; Advanced Work Packaging (AWP): Verify that work fronts, permits, and approved Installation Work Packages (IWPs) are in place before activities start. Ensure IWPs are being used on site by the contractors' Front-Line Supervisors. 
Permit to Work (PTW): Act as an Area Authority (AA) under the PTW procedure and assist planning of permits with the Facilities Contractors. 
SHE Leadership: Enforce adherence to safe systems of work and construction phase plans on site. Ensure RAMS are reviewed in accordance with SHE-T-383. 
Progress &amp; Reporting: Monitor daily output against schedule and report any blockers to the Civil Structural Construction Lead. 
 
2. Quality &amp; Technical 
 
Quality Control: Ensure all Civil &amp; Structural work adheres strictly to specifications, design, and approved Inspection &amp; Test Plans (ITPs). 
Design Interface: Interpret design drawings/specs and manage the onsite process for raising technical queries (TQs) promptly. 
Installation Work Package Support: Support the Work Package Engineers with the development and validation of IWPs. 
Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate submission of all Costain daily reports (CPM-T-1005) and Installation Test Records (ITRs) from the field. 
 
3. Temporary Works and Regulatory Compliance 
 
Temporary Works Supervisor: Act as the key site interface for temporary works related to civil &amp; structural, i.e., formwork, shoring, scaffolding. 
Compliance: Ensure all temporary works execution and sign-offs adhere to BS 5975 procedures, liaising with the appointed Temporary Works Coordinator. 
CDM 2015: Ensure contractor methods align with CDM 2015 requirements for the safe execution of the civil and structural works. 
 
4. Completions &amp; Handover 
 
Progressive ITRs: Drive the timely execution and sign-off of all Inspection Test Records (ITRs) and pre-commissioning checks related to civil and structural scope. 
Punch List: Lead the initial identification of punch list items and manage the Facilities Contractors' rectification effort to achieve early close-out.

Mechanical Completion Readiness: Ensure the civil and structural scope is verified, documented, and physically ready for handover to subsequent disciplines (M&amp;P, E&amp;I).</li></ul></div>
 <div><ul>Qualifications: Ability to plan, schedule, and manage Civil &amp; Structural construction activities 
Demonstrate sufficient experience (Five years plus) in a similar role on a large-scale project. 
Proven experience in supervising Civil &amp; Structural construction teams on brownfield projects and upper tier COMAH sites. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders. 
Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively. 
Knowledge of UK construction safety regulations and procedures. 
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. 
Ability to read and interpret Civil and Structural construction drawings and specifications. 
Experience in progress reporting and record keeping 
Permit to Work (PTW) experience 
Ability to communicate with multi-disciplined engineering and specialist pipelines teams.

To be apprentice trained or have a discipline-specific qualification or trade background &ndash; i.e., C + Guilds, NVQ 3 or above (HNC/D) in a Civil &amp; Structural Engineering subject.

Civil and Structural Superintendent- North

<div>We are looking for a Handover Coordinator to join our project in the South West where we are a delivery partner on a key infrastructure project.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in one of the most complex and challenging projects in the UK today, where you will be responsible for the coordination of all documentation relating to the handover of the constructed assets from construction to commissioning, and subsequently to the Client. The Handover Coordinator is an integral member of the M&amp;E project team and is responsible for organising and controlling handover documentation on behalf of the M&amp;E Project Manager. You will work closely with the document control and commissioning teams and provide support with document control processes during periods of high document traffic.</div>
