This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional eager to make a significant impact through meticulous financial management and technical accounting excellence.&lt;Duties&gt;<ul><li>Manage and oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).</li><li>Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and month-end closing procedures to maintain precise financial records.</li><li>Lead accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and vendor/customer reconciliation.</li><li>Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including regulatory filings, financial statements, and management reports that highlight key insights and trends.</li><li>Support internal controls related to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance and participate in audits for both internal review and external regulators.</li><li>Perform cash management activities such as forecasting cash flows, monitoring bank transactions, and optimizing liquidity.</li><li>Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support organizational financial health.</li><li>Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical accounting issues like revenue recognition under GAAP or IFRS standards.</li><li>Ensure adherence to governmental accounting standards when working with public sector or non-profit entities.</li></ul>&lt;Skills&gt;<ul><li>Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and governmental or non-profit accounting standards.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other financial management systems.</li><li>Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles, account reconciliation techniques, and general ledger management.</li><li>Expertise in financial report writing, regulatory reporting requirements, and audit preparation.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in cash flow management, budgeting processes, and forecasting models.</li><li>Technical accounting skills related to payroll processing, account analysis, and account reconciliation procedures.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li><li>Effective communication skills for preparing clear financial documentation and collaborating across teams.
