Job Summary Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Caregiver/MedTech, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care to individuals across assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and home care settings. This dynamic position combines caregiving responsibilities with medical technology duties, ensuring residents and patients receive comprehensive support that promotes their health, safety, and well-being. You will utilize your medical knowledge and caregiving skills to assist with daily activities, monitor health status, and support medical procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working in a vibrant, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide personalized care to residents and patients, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and nutrition.</li><li>Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols, including medication administration and tube feeding procedures.</li><li>Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document findings accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.</li><li>Support specialized care needs including Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities.</li><li>Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound dressing changes, and physiology-based tasks requiring anatomy knowledge.</li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and ensuring proper medical documentation.</li><li>Operate medical equipment like Epic or Cerner systems for accurate record-keeping and communication with healthcare teams.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care across acute care settings or home &amp; community environments.</li><li>Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures to promote a secure environment for residents and staff alike.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home care environments is highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient care techniques.</li><li>Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for managing medical records efficiently.</li><li>Background in caring for individuals with Alzheimer&rsquo;s disease or dementia is advantageous.</li><li>Familiarity with hospice care practices and working with individuals who have complex health needs is a plus.</li><li>Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining professionalism under HIPAA guidelines.</li><li>Previous roles involving caregiving duties combined with technical responsibilities will be considered an asset.
