Felony Drug Court Case ManagerGratiot County &ndash; District CourtGratiot County is seeking a dedicated and service-driven professional to join our District Court team as a part-time Felony Drug Court Case Manager. This position plays a critical role in supporting participants through structured supervision, treatment coordination, and evidence-based practices designed to reduce recidivism and promote long-term recovery. There is an expectation that services will be provided to inmates in a jail setting.Position SummaryThe Felony Drug Court Case Manager provides intensive supervision and individualized case management to participants enrolled in the Felony Drug Court program. Working within a problem-solving court model, this role collaborates closely with the court team and community partners to support behavioral change, recovery, and public safety.Key ResponsibilitiesCase Management &amp; Court Support<ul><li>Provide individualized, evidence-based case management services</li><li>Facilitate case management with inmates that are being housed within the Gratiot County jail.</li><li>Develop and implement case plans addressing criminogenic needs and substance use disorders</li><li>Participate in court staffing meetings and hearings, providing recommendations</li><li>Apply graduated sanctions and interventions to encourage compliance</li></ul>Assessments &amp; Monitoring<ul><li>Conduct Impaired Driving Assessments (IDA) and LS/CMI risk assessments</li><li>Monitor compliance with court-ordered conditions, including drug testing, PBTs, GPS, and check-ins</li><li>Respond promptly to non-compliance with appropriate interventions</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Coordinate with treatment providers to ensure appropriate levels of care</li><li>Communicate effectively with participants, attorneys, law enforcement, and court personnel</li><li>Serve as liaison with the Prosecutor&rsquo;s Office and law enforcement when necessary</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain accurate case records and documentation</li><li>Prepare reports and updates for court review hearings</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s Degree in criminal justice, social work, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)</li><li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in criminal justice or a related field</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li></ul>Preferred Certifications (or ability to obtain):<ul><li>Impaired Driving Assessment (IDA) Certification</li><li>LS/CMI Certification</li><li>LEIN and JIS Training</li><li>Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)</li><li>Security Awareness Training</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>Strong understanding of the criminal justice system and court procedures</li><li>Knowledge of substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation practices</li><li>Proficiency in case management and risk/needs assessment tools</li><li>Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to manage sensitive situations and enforce compliance effectively</li></ul>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements<ul><li>Work may involve exposure to challenging environments, including interaction with individuals in crisis</li><li>Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods</li><li>Ability to perform routine office tasks and lift up to 5 pounds</li></ul>How to Apply?Submit Gratiot County application, resume and cover letter to hr@gratiotmi.com by 4:30pm on April 24, 2026 .Submitted application packets that do not include a Gratiot County application will be considered to be incomplete.Equal Opportunity EmployerGratiot County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
