Courtyard Adult Day Center is a medical adult day program supporting older adults, including those living with dementia. We provide a structured, engaging day that includes cognitive activities, movement, social connection, and personalized support in a safe, welcoming environment.Our goal is simple: to create meaningful days for our participants while supporting families with trusted, compassionate care.We are growing and looking for someone who is excited to be part of that growth and help shape the experience we provide.The Activity Assistant is a hands-on, interactive role supporting daily programming and participant engagement. This position also includes assisting with transportation using our 8-passenger shuttle (no CDL required).This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is open to learning, and wants to be part of a team that is building something special.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist the Activity Director with daily activities including cognitive, social, and creative programming</li><li>Encourage participation and engagement for individuals at all ability levels</li><li>Support a structured, calm, and welcoming daily environment</li><li>Build relationships with participants and understand their preferences</li><li>Assist with set-up, transitions, engagement and clean-up throughout the day</li><li>Work closely with the team to ensure safety and quality of care</li><li>Assist with transportation of participants as needed (8-passenger shuttle)</li><li>Support community outings and special events</li><li>Complete light documentation and activity tracking</li><li>Maintain participant confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)</li><li>Follow all safety, infection control, and program policies</li><li>Participate in training and ongoing team development</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record (for shuttle use)</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>Experience working with older adults or willingness to learn, especially in dementia care and engagement</li><li>Kind, patient, and dependable</li><li>Comfortable working in a team-based, fast-moving environment</li><li>Flexible and able to adapt throughout the day</li><li>Positive attitude and strong communication skills</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record (for shuttle use)</li></ul>Growth Opportunity:We are a growing program, and this role is ideal for someone who wants to:<ul><li>Learn more about dementia care and activity programming</li><li>Build meaningful relationships with participants and families</li><li>Grow within a supportive and evolving team environment</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain participant confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)</li><li>Follow all safety, infection control, and program policies</li><li>Participate in training and ongoing team development.</li></ul>We are looking for someone who brings compassion, energy, and a genuine desire to make a difference each day.
