This position is responsible for maintaining essential accounting records, supporting financial reporting, and providing cross-functional support to the accounting team.Experience, Working Conditions and Other Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting with a minimum of five (5) years recent associated work experience performing accounting functions with specific experience in cost accounting, standard costs, payroll and general accounting.</li><li>Must have a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures with strong bookkeeping and spreadsheet skills.</li><li>Experience working with integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.</li></ul>Desirable Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with electric utility accounting practices is preferred.</li></ul>Work Environment:The work environment conditions described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.<ul><li>Work is performed in the office Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
