We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects.Position SummaryAs an Interior Designer, you will play an integral role in the planning, design, and development of complex interior design projects. This position requires a strong understanding of design principles, material application, and coordination with architectural and engineering teams. The ideal candidate possesses creative problem-solving skills, advanced technical proficiency, and a collaborative mindset.Key Responsibilities&middot; Proven ability to be a key contributor to complex interior design projects.&middot; Develop plans and designs for the interior of buildings, creating functional and aesthetic designs.&middot; Responsible for planning the use and layout of spaces and decorating with finishes, furniture, fixtures, millwork, and material boards.&middot; Develop schematic and construction drawings, presentations, and construction details and renderings as required.&middot; Conducts material and product research for project development for projects of small scale or segments of larger projects.&middot; Coordinates with architects and other team members throughout all design phases.&middot; Assists the Project Manager in client presentations on technical and design solutions.&middot; Collaboratively work with all project team members to ensure design quality and consistency.&middot; Assists in coordination and direction of single or multi-discipline teams on assigned projects of small size and complexity.&middot; Selects, evaluates, and implements procedures and techniques used on projects.&middot; Works independently on interior design projects and coordinates design efforts as needed.&middot; Contributes to evolving and assists in designing documentation standards and software tools.&middot; Constantly seeks knowledge and provides an environment that encourages innovation.&middot; May provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.&middot; Collaborate with other team members to provide the client with recommendations in design.&middot; Understands the scope of services as outlined in project contracts and identifies when client requests are out of scope.&middot; Assists with various projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.&middot; Creates detailed plans for construction and ensures timely deliverable submissions to clients and permitting entities.&middot; Prepares status updates, reports, and communicates project progress to leadership and internal teams.&middot; Participates in jobsite visits, client meetings, and presentations.&middot; Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and vendors&rsquo; representatives.&middot; Connects locally with professional networks and participates in industry organizations.&middot; May assist with documentation and presentations in support of proposals and business development efforts.&middot; Maintains relationships with existing clients and contributes to business development efforts.&middot; Assists in improving operations, increasing project efficiency, and building a culture of client service excellence.&middot; Encourages innovation, mentorship, and a people-first approach among junior staff.&middot; Understand risk management and business impact when implementing process improvements.&middot; Possesses a desire for lifelong learning and professional development.&middot; Assists with staff development through day-to-day collaboration and informal mentorship.&middot; Understands project performance, monitors budgets, and alerts senior staff if deadlines may be missed.&middot; Exhibits professionalism, humility, and confidence while fostering team trust and collaboration.Qualifications&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s or master&rsquo;s degree in interior design or equivalent from an accredited institution.&middot; 5+ years of experience or proven ability to perform at an advanced professional level.&middot; Advanced knowledge of interior design principles and concepts.&middot; Understanding of designing interiors for residential, corporate offices, commercial, and/or industrial buildings.&middot; Knowledge of International Building Codes and ANSI standards.&middot; Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Products.&middot; Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and communication skills.&middot; Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.&middot; Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa restrictions.Why Join Us<ul><li>Opportunity to work on diverse and impactful interior design projects.</li><li>Shape the future of architectural standards and design excellence.</li><li>Work in a collaborative studio with a people-first culture.</li><li>Convenient location in West New York, NJ with opportunities for professional growth.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Profit sharing</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
