This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages efficiently in a timely manner</li><li>Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic retail math calculations</li><li>Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience through excellent customer service</li><li>Assist with banquet, catering, or nightclub events as needed, ensuring seamless service during busy periods</li><li>Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to keep operations running smoothly</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality environments</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred</li><li>Experience working in fine dining settings or nightclubs is a plus; banquet experience is also valued</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices</li><li>Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and cash handling accurately</li><li>Previous experience in retail math or cashiering roles enhances your ability to manage sales effectively</li></ul>This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering outstanding service in a lively environment.
