In this role, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for providing safe, engaging, and loving walks for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Your dedication will ensure each furry friend receives the exercise and attention they need to stay happy, healthy, and well-socialized. This position offers a dynamic environment where your animal handling skills and passion for pet care make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners every day.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead daily walks with dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout each outing</li><li>Monitor dog behavior and use animal restraint techniques when necessary to maintain control</li><li>Provide basic dog training during walks to reinforce commands and good manners</li><li>Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pet&rsquo;s behavior, health, and special needs</li><li>Assist with pet sitting duties when required, including feeding, administering medication, or cleaning up after pets</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized walking equipment area, including leashes, harnesses, and cleaning supplies</li><li>Follow all safety protocols related to animal handling, veterinary procedures, and heavy lifting when necessary</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior experience in dog handling or pet sitting preferred; familiarity with animal restraint techniques is a plus</li><li>Veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience highly valued for understanding pet health needs</li><li>Background in animal care or kennel experience demonstrates strong animal handling skills</li><li>Knowledge of dog training methods and veterinary experience enhances your ability to manage diverse behaviors</li><li>Customer service experience helps in building positive relationships with pet owners</li><li>Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when needed for equipment or assisting larger dogs</li><li>Passion for animals combined with excellent communication skills ensures a caring and professional approach</li></ul>Join us in creating joyful moments for pets while advancing your career in animal care!
