<div><p>Creare is seeking an experienced professional to be the operational link between Engineering and Manufacturing. This role is designed to offload high-level logistical and technical coordination from the Engineering team, ensuring that the machine shop and technical teams operate at peak efficiency. The Production Planner &amp; Specialist will be responsible for the fabrication lifecycle, from initial planning and material procurement to final assembly oversight.</p><p>
Key Responsibilities</p><p></p><div><br>
<ul><li>Production Planning &amp; Scheduling
<div><ul><li>Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of internal projects.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinate with the Fabrication Center Manager (machine shop lead) to prioritize work orders based on project deadlines and machine availability.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor workflow bottlenecks and proactively adjust schedules to maintain throughput.</li></ul><br>
</div></li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Technical Support
<div><ul><li>Develop proficiency in Fabrication Center operations to serve as the interim designated lead for daily machine shop activities and workflow as needed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Serve as a point of contact for the Creare machine shop, offloading Engineers from routine fabrication and assembly inquiries.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Review Bill of Materials (BOMs) for completeness and accuracy before they hit the floor.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage technical documentation, ensuring the latest revision of every drawing is in the hands of the machinists.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinate assembly and calibration tasks that require technical oversight.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identify and schedule appropriate inspections to ensure manufactured parts meet Engineering&rsquo;s design intent.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline tasks.</li></ul><br>
</div></li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Strategic Material Coordination
<div><ul><li>Move beyond simple &quot;parts ordering&quot; to strategic procurement.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Liaise with external vendors for specialized processes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintain inventory levels for high-use production consumables.</li></ul><br>
</div></li></ul></div><p></p><ul><li>Experience: 5+ years in a production, machining, or technical manufacturing environment.</li><li>
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.</li><li>
Technical Literacy: Ability to read complex blueprints, GD&amp;T, and technical schematics.</li><li>
Software: Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and project management/scheduling software.</li><li>
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively between engineering and technical teams.</li><li>
Problem Solving: Ability to identify bottlenecks and reroute resources effectively.</li></ul><p>
Creare offers a competitive compensation package, including but not limited to a substantial annual bonus, industry-leading 401(k) contributions and plan options, a range of medical plan offerings, and the potential for signing or startup bonuses. Starting salary range of $75,000 - $100,000 per year, based on level of education completed, and years of relevant experience.</p><p><i>
