Overview Abode Studios is a boutique creative agency specializing in luxury interior design and lifestyle brands. We're looking for a creative-first Social Media Specialist to join our team on a part-time contract basis &mdash; someone who lives and breathes short-form video and has a genuine eye for elevated, visually compelling content.This role is built for a creator who can watch a trend and immediately think how do we make this ours&mdash;not copy it, but translate it into something that feels intentional, original, and high-end.What You'll Be Doing<ul><li>Developing fresh, trend-informed Reels concepts tailored to luxury interior design and lifestyle brands</li><li>Writing captions that are engaging, on-brand, and optimized for reach</li><li>Creating and editing Reels from start to finish &mdash; including some on-location filming assistance</li><li>Scheduling and posting content to Instagram</li><li>Staying ahead of platform trends and translating them into content ideas that complement rather than copy</li></ul>What We're Looking For<ul><li>A portfolio or feed that demonstrates a refined, high-end aesthetic &mdash; your work should feel luxurious without feeling cold</li><li>Strong instincts for trend interpretation &mdash; you spot what's working and make it better</li><li>Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, etc.)</li><li>Ability to write captions that are warm, compelling, and brand-aligned</li><li>Self-motivated and reliable &mdash; this is a contract role with real creative ownership</li><li>Detail-oriented with an eye for visual storytelling</li></ul>This is an entry-level role, and we care far more about your aesthetic sensibility and creative potential than years of experience.Requirements<ul><li>Experience in luxury, interior design, home, beauty, or lifestyle niches</li><li>Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, or similar)</li><li>Familiarity with scheduling tools (Later, Planoly, etc.)</li></ul>To ApplyEmail lilly@abodemarketing.co with the following (applications missing these will not be considered)- Links to 3 content pieces you're extra proud of- A link to your portfolio and Instagram or TikTok.- A few sentences describing your experience- Subject Line: SMM Application - YOUR NAMEJob Type: Part-timePay: From $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 10 &ndash; 15 per weekWork Location: Remote
