Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai (On-site at Aarti Industries) Department: IT Infrastructure &ndash; End User Support Reports To: IT Manager / L2 Support Lead Experience Required: 1&ndash;3 yearsJob SummaryWe are looking for an L1 Compute Support Engineer to provide desk-side and remote IT support to users at Aarti Industries, Vikhroli. The candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware/software issues, handling O365 and Active Directory basics, and ensuring smooth IT operations on-site. This role demands a customer-first approach, adherence to SLAs, and effective coordination with L2 and vendor teams for escalations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide first-level IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.</li><li>Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, MS Office, Outlook, and O365 apps.</li><li>Perform basic Active Directory tasks (password resets, account unlocks, group changes).</li><li>Assist with device imaging, OS patching, software installs, and new-joiner setups.</li><li>Troubleshoot network basics (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP/DNS checks, VPN client issues).</li><li>Configure and support printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.</li><li>Log, update, and close tickets in the IT ticketing tool (ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service, etc.) within SLA.</li><li>Escalate issues to L2/Network/Security teams with proper documentation.</li><li>Maintain IT asset issuance/return records and coordinate vendor RMA/repairs.</li><li>Follow IT SOPs, compliance standards, and site safety protocols.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Strong knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and MS Office/O365.</li><li>Familiarity with Active Directory basics.</li><li>Exposure to imaging tools (SCCM/MDT/Intune is a plus).</li><li>Experience with ticketing systems.</li><li>Good communication and end-user handling skills.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.</li></ul>Education &amp; Certifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree / Diploma in Computer Science / IT or equivalent.</li><li>Certifications like CompTIA A+, MCP, or ITIL Foundation are an advantage.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;35,000.00 - &#8377;40,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li></ul>Work Location: In person
