L1 Network and Security Engineer

Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai (On-site at Aarti Industries)

Job Summary

We are looking for an L1 Compute Support Engineer to provide desk-side and remote IT support to users at Aarti Industries, Vikhroli. The candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware/software issues, handling O365 and Active Directory basics, and ensuring smooth IT operations on-site. This role demands a customer-first approach, adherence to SLAs, and effective coordination with L2 and vendor teams for escalations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, MS Office, Outlook, and O365 apps.
• Perform basic Active Directory tasks (password resets, account unlocks, group changes).
• Assist with device imaging, OS patching, software installs, and new-joiner setups.
• Troubleshoot network basics (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP/DNS checks, VPN client issues).
• Configure and support printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
• Log, update, and close tickets in the IT ticketing tool (ServiceNow, Jira, Fresh service, etc.) within SLA.
• Escalate issues to L2/Network/Security teams with proper documentation.
• Maintain IT asset issuance/return records and coordinate vendor RMA/repairs.
• Follow IT SOPs, compliance standards, and site safety protocols.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS troubleshooting and MS Office/O365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory basics.
• Exposure to imaging tools (SCCM/MDT/Intune is a plus).
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Good communication and end-user handling skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Computer Science / IT or equivalent.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, MCP, or ITIL Foundation are an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
