Overview: The Bartender/Cook/Server position will be held by a professional individual capable of attending to the Crescent Beach pub with integrity and attention to detail.Our goal is to create a clean and orderly environment with friendly and pleasant service for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining our property and strengthening our reputation.This position is seasonal (Memorial Day to Labor Day - Wednesday thru Saturday evenings - 4pm - 9pm)Responsibilities:<ul><li>Welcoming customers, listening to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations and taking drink orders</li></ul><ul><li>Informing customer of new beverages and specials</li></ul><ul><li>Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses and serving beverages to customers</li></ul><ul><li>Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase and consume alcohol</li></ul><ul><li>Taking inventory and letting supervisors know when supplies are low</li></ul><ul><li>Adhering to ALL food safety and quality regulations</li></ul><ul><li>Handling cash, credit and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to customers</li></ul><ul><li>Balancing cash register</li></ul><ul><li>Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables and washing glasses, utensils and equipment</li></ul><ul><li>Stocking all items at the end of shifts</li></ul><ul><li>Rotating food and stamping the time and date on all items in coolers</li></ul><ul><li>Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of the menu, with ability to make suggestions</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol</li></ul><ul><li>Available for nights, weekends and holidays</li></ul><ul><li>Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance</li></ul><ul><li>Basic math and computer skills</li></ul><ul><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills</li></ul><ul><li>Strong task and time management skills</li></ul><ul><li>Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods and life up to 25 lbs.</li></ul>Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
