Seasonal Bartender (Fri & Sat nights)

Overview:
The Bartender/Cook/Server position will be held by a professional individual capable of attending to the Crescent Beach pub with integrity and attention to detail.

Our goal is to create a clean and orderly environment with friendly and pleasant service for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining our property and strengthening our reputation.

This position is seasonal (Memorial Day to Labor Day - Wednesday thru Saturday evenings - 4pm - 9pm)

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers, listening to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations and taking drink orders

• Informing customer of new beverages and specials

• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses and serving beverages to customers

• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase and consume alcohol

• Taking inventory and letting supervisors know when supplies are low

• Adhering to ALL food safety and quality regulations

• Handling cash, credit and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to customers

• Balancing cash register

• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables and washing glasses, utensils and equipment

• Stocking all items at the end of shifts

• Rotating food and stamping the time and date on all items in coolers

• Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas

• Knowledge of the menu, with ability to make suggestions

Requirements:

• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol

• Available for nights, weekends and holidays

• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance

• Basic math and computer skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong task and time management skills

• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods and life up to 25 lbs.
