The QC (Quality Control) Inspector &ndash; Piping &amp; Welding is responsible for ensuring all piping fabrication, welding, and related construction activities comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and quality standards. The role involves conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, ensuring proper material traceability, and verifying that all work meets safety and quality requirements.Key Responsibilities1. Inspection &amp; Quality Assurance<ul><li>Perform fit-up, dimensional, and visual inspections on piping spools and welded joints.</li><li>Conduct in-process and final inspection of welding activities according to WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications).</li><li>Verify compliance with applicable codes such as ASME, API, AWS, and project-specific standards.</li><li>Ensure proper welding consumables handling and storage.</li><li>Inspect material identification, heat numbers, and traceability.</li></ul>2.
