Overview We are seeking a creative and skilled Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a strong understanding of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance. This role involves creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions while providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The Floral Designer will also assist with merchandising and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the store.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.</li><li>Provide knowledgeable advice to customers regarding floral selections and care.</li><li>Assist in maintaining inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies.</li><li>Utilize POS systems for processing sales transactions efficiently.</li><li>Engage in retail sales activities, including stocking shelves and merchandising products.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and display sections.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience through excellent service.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven minimum 3 year experience in floral design or related fields such as horticulture or gardening.</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers.</li><li>Familiarity with retail math concepts to manage inventory and sales accurately.</li><li>Experience in cashiering and cash handling is preferred.</li><li>Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Knowledge of e-commerce practices is a plus for online sales support.</li><li>Multilingual abilities are an asset to cater to diverse customer needs.</li><li>A background in lawn care or landscape maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory.
