Experienced Floral Designer

Overview
We are seeking a creative and skilled Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a strong understanding of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance. This role involves creating stunning floral arrangements for various occasions while providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The Floral Designer will also assist with merchandising and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the store.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
• Provide knowledgeable advice to customers regarding floral selections and care.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies.
• Utilize POS systems for processing sales transactions efficiently.
• Engage in retail sales activities, including stocking shelves and merchandising products.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and display sections.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience through excellent service.

Requirements

• Proven minimum 3 year experience in floral design or related fields such as horticulture or gardening.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to manage inventory and sales accurately.
• Experience in cashiering and cash handling is preferred.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of e-commerce practices is a plus for online sales support.
• Multilingual abilities are an asset to cater to diverse customer needs.
• A background in lawn care or landscape maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory. Join us as we create beautiful experiences through floral artistry!
