Job Summary Join our team as a Local Home Every Night CDL Class A Driver and experience the stability and comfort of returning home each evening! 99% is drop and hook, In this energetic and vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to delivey of wooden pallets efficiently within your local area. Your dedication ensures timely deliveries, exceptional customer service, and the smooth operation of our logistics network. This position offers consistent hours, a dynamic work environment, and the opportunity to develop your driving career with a reputable company committed to safety and excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, to transport Pallet</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.</li><li>Follow designated routes for delivery and pickup schedules, maintaining punctuality and efficiency throughout each shift.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including hours of service rules.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of deliveries, load details, mileage logs, and inspection reports in accordance with company policies.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers or dump trucks with a valid CDL Class A license.</li><li>Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely.</li><li>Skilled in load securement techniques for various cargo types to ensure safety during transit.</li><li>Experience with route driving in local areas with knowledge of traffic patterns and delivery points.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo handling.
