Join our team as a Local Home Every Night CDL Class A Driver and experience the stability and comfort of returning home each evening! 99% is drop and hook, In this energetic and vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to delivey of wooden pallets efficiently within your local area. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, to transport Pallet
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.
• Follow designated routes for delivery and pickup schedules, maintaining punctuality and efficiency throughout each shift.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including hours of service rules.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, load details, mileage logs, and inspection reports in accordance with company policies.

Skills

• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers or dump trucks with a valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and safely.
• Skilled in load securement techniques for various cargo types to ensure safety during transit.
• Experience with route driving in local areas with knowledge of traffic patterns and delivery points.
