Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for patients requiring non-emergency medical trips. In this vital role, you will be responsible for transporting clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other healthcare-related destinations while ensuring their comfort and safety. Your positive attitude and excellent driving skills will help enhance the overall patient experience and support their access to essential healthcare services.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate various vehicles including shuttle buses, and paratransit vans to transport patients to scheduled appointments.</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous customer service at all times.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance before each shift.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly.</li><li>Handle heavy lifting when assisting patients with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and passenger details in accordance with company policies.</li><li>Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a secure transportation environment.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.</li><li>Knowledge of paratransit operations and commercial driving regulations.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse clients and team members.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment.</li><li>Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early.</li><li>Experience with school bus driving or other specialized transportation roles is a plus.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license appropriate for the vehicle type; clean driving record required.
