Overview We are currently hiring for our early morning shift. This paid position offers an opportunity to utilize your driving talents while contributing to a community-focused mission.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate vehicles including vans, and paratransit vans to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other destinations</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support and ensuring comfort throughout the journey</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability</li><li>Maintain accurate digital logs of trips, mileage, and passenger information in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare facilities, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any special needs or concerns</li><li>Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to guarantee safe transportation at all times</li><li>Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage while prioritizing passenger safety</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine service with a strong focus on customer care</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., &lt;PERSON&gt; driver license or commercial driver&rsquo;s license) with a clean driving record</li><li>Familiarity with paratransit operations, heavy lifting techniques, and vehicle maintenance procedures</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers, healthcare providers, and team members</li><li>Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS devices or maps while maintaining awareness of road conditions</li><li>Strong attention to safety protocols and compliance standards for non-emergency medical transportation services</li><li>Experience in school bus driving or similar roles is a plus but not required</li></ul>Embark on a meaningful career where your driving skills directly impact lives!
