The Personal Training Manager (PTM) leads the personal training department and is responsible for driving team performance, improving client outcomes, and creating a high-accountability, high-results culture. This position ensures that all trainers are meeting expectations in session delivery, kickoff execution, and retention while maintaining an inspiring and disciplined training environment. The PTM is a leadership force that sets the tone for department excellence and member experience.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership &amp; Culture<ul><li>Lead, mentor, and hold all trainers accountable to high performance and professionalism.</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct daily check-ins, team huddles, and one-on-one coaching sessions.</li></ul><ul><li>Reinforce team culture, work ethic, urgency, and client-first mentality.</li></ul><ul><li>Plan and run regular team workouts and training sessions to build unity and skill.</li></ul>Onboarding &amp; Development<ul><li>Train new trainers on the full Crunch sales system and kickoff process.</li></ul><ul><li>Assign shadows, conduct roleplays, and ensure readiness within 30 days.</li></ul><ul><li>Continuously retrain team on sales scripts, weak points, and conversion best practices.</li></ul><ul><li>Support new hire test-outs and ensure proper knowledge transfer.</li></ul>Sales &amp; KPI Management<ul><li>Track and post all key performance indicators: kickoffs booked, show rates, conversions, and renewals.</li></ul><ul><li>Pull and review daily VFP and session reports for performance insights.</li></ul>ENCOURAGE | EMPOWER | ENTERTAIN<ul><li>Identify low-performance trends and implement recovery plans.</li></ul><ul><li>Strategize around weak days or times to improve department output.</li></ul>Client Experience &amp; Retention<ul><li>Monitor client satisfaction and outcomes; review and audit programming quality.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure rebooking expectations are met and attrition remains low.</li></ul><ul><li>Intervene when trainers underperform in client results or cultural standards.</li></ul><ul><li>Handle escalated client issues regarding personal training services.</li></ul>Operations &amp; Administration<ul><li>Manage trainer schedules, floor hours, time-off requests, and session tracking.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure accurate logging of sessions for payroll and performance.</li></ul><ul><li>Deliver payroll inputs and compliance logs to GM or payroll manager on time.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee trainer floor presence, session flow, and lead generation activity.</li></ul>Communication &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Report weekly team performance and risk areas to General Manager and Regional Manager.</li></ul><ul><li>Align with GMs on club-level goals, campaigns, and staffing needs.</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate with front desk and membership teams to ensure kickoff coverage and lead flow.</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate openly and consistently to ensure transparency, alignment, and trust.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
