Job description<ul><li>Job Title: Import Specialist</li><li>Industry: Logistics / Freight Forwarding</li><li>Location: City of Industry, CA and Jamaica, NY</li><li>Salary: $ will dep. on experience</li></ul>The Logistics Coordinator must be able to work well with high volume, fast-paced environment, while maintaining clear communication with Customers, Logistics service providers, Warehouses and Mgt. to assure operations meet goals and objectives.QUALIFICATIONS::<ul><li>1 years' experience in Ocean freight with an NVOCC/Freight Forwarder</li><li>Ability to understand customer needs and shipping requirements</li><li>Basic Microsoft skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).</li><li>Experience using &quot;E-freight&quot; a plus</li><li>Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment.</li><li>Clear verbal and written communication as well as organizational skills.</li><li>JOB DUTIES:</li><li>Arrange Inbound/outbound cargo shipments - forwarding related Activities</li><li>Coordinate Shipments with importers, truckers, and carriers.</li><li>Prepare transfer documents if releasing documents to other brokers.</li><li>Arrange payment to carriers for inbound consoles.</li><li>Track / Trace shipments Door-Door</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeJob Type: Full-timePay: From $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Associate (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Freight Forwarding: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>City of Industry, CA (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>City of Industry, CA: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
